from Rawlins, WY because of NASCAR

Hi gang:

I mentioned that I was going to be in Cheyenne, Wyoming by tonight (Saturday). Well, I fell a little short in my goal. I am in Rawlins, Wyoming. I played along parts of the Lincoln Highway, U.S. 30, which most of I-80 buries. I actually found one original Lincoln Highway marker on the east outskirts of Lyman, WY. But when I got to Little America to eat supper, I happened to walk past a part of the restaurant where a TV was turned to the NASCAR race at Daytona. So, instead of driving on, I took the time to watch the race with some guys. But, as it happens, on of the guys was knowledgeable of and an experienced photographer for the Bonneville Salt Falts race course. So he answered some of my questions.

I am going to attend the France Memorial Presbyterian Church here in Rawlins tomorrow a.m. before continuing my journey to Cheyenne.
