re-grouped this a.m., almost to Utah tonight

hi folks:
tonight (Wednesday) I am in Wells, Nevada. Tomorrow I will be heading to Salt Lake City. But, first thing when I cross over the state line, I am going to detour off I-80 a bit to go see the Bonneville Speedway, or see what I can of it. There is a Bonneville Museum in Wendover, UT, but it doesn't open in time for me to stay there and still make it to Salt Lake to do what I want to do. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can get into the rehearsal for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Thursday evening. I was told the rehearsals are open to the public, but only so many folks can come in to listen. My friend, Bridge Brelsford where in Salt Lake City and Farmington UT at this very same time in 1982. We saw some of our best Fourth of July fireworks ever at the Lagoon Park in Farmington, UT next to the campground where we stayed overnight. I am going past to see if the park is still as pretty as it was back then. until later, j.
